Do Watermans use sulphate in their products?

Although our products contain Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, and Olefin Sulfonate, which can be mistaken for sulphates, we do not use any in our formulas.

Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate

Typically used in shampoos, body washes and bubble baths, this chemical is claimed by researchers to be a gentle foaming agent, with highly soluble water properties and the added benefit of being soft on sensitive skin.

This solution does not contain sulphates, and is not sulphated during production.

Olefin Sulfonate

Typically used in soaps, cosmetic products and detergents, this solution helps oil molecules on the skin and compounds to dissolve in water. It does not contain sulphate.
